As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Transformer Assembler to join our family. You’ll work on globally impactful projects, shaping everything from electric vehicle powertrains and next-generation semiconductor fabrication to particle accelerators, cutting‑edge energy research, and national defense. Responsibilities- Assemble and laminate main magnetic components according to required specifications
- Use hand tools to twist, bend, trim, strip, and crimp wire leads of transformers to required lengths
- Solder wire leads of transformers and inductors using a soldering iron or solder pot
- Varnish and bake transformers in the oven according to department procedures
- Glue and clamp various chopper chokes
- Read blueprints and schematics
- Assemble various inductors according to required specifications
- Wind coils (with or without machinery assistance) as specified by datasheets and electrical diagrams
- Operate the core machine for manufacturing steel cores in transformer assembly
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1‑year related experience is preferred
- Good mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Knowledge of crimping, soldering, and assembly is preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of BOMs, assembly drawings and other related manufacturing documents is preferred
