Required:

All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor#s Degree in nursing OR if Associates Degree or Diploma, RN must be actively enrolled in a BSN program and complete within 5 years of hire date or internal RN promotion date. Associates Degree AND 2 years of experience in the specialty area will be accepted in lieu of BSN. Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

One year Med/Surg or related nursing experience. Preferred:
Previous acute care Emergency Department nursing experience. License, Registry or Certification:

Required:

Current NJ RN licensure. Certifications in American Heart Association CPR required upon hire.# #ACLS,# PALS or ENPC, and CPI training within 6 months of hire.# CPI training education provided by HMC. Preferred:
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or other related specialty certification. Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

Complete Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation upon hire.# Stroke training 8 hours per year, Sexual Assault and Trauma training is required within 1 year of hire. Preferred:
