Position#Summary The LPN is responsible for scrubbing for C/S, stocking and restocking of OR, triage, infant warmers, IV trays, stocking of rooms, managing supplies and checking expiration dates, assisting RN during delivery and in clearing room of delivery equipment. He/she functions as Unit Coordinator and PCA as needed. Under the supervision of the RN provides quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process using evidence based practice focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience within the framework of Shared Governance.

Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Facilitate patient care with the care team
2. Maintain Patient Safety and clean, safe environment
3. Other duties as assigned
4. Promotes and supports an organized work environment # Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

Advanced specialized education or technical training in LPN. Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

One-year clinical assistant/LPN experience. Preferred:
One-year acute care clinical assistant/LPN experience/OR scrub experience License, Registry or Certification:

Required:

â- Current New Jersey LPN licensure required. â- Current American Heart Association CPR certification and American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required. #If not complete upon hire must complete within 6 months of hire or by completion of orientation.# Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:
