Outpatient RN
Provides quality nursing care through the application of nursing process using evidence-based practice focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience in accordance with established standards of professional nursing care. Primary position responsibilities include facilitating, providing, and coordinating patient care, effectively and efficiently documenting all care provided to patients in electronic medical record, maintaining professional development, and maintaining patient safety.
Qualifications:
Minimum education required is an associate degree or diploma in nursing. Preferred is a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Minimum two years of psychiatric nursing experience is required. Preferred is none. Required license is NJ RN licensure and American Heart Association CPR certification. Preferred is ANCC Psychiatric and Mental Health certification. Must pass annual competencies based program and mandated in-service education. Experience working with psychiatric and substance abuse populations.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
