Task Associate

Overview

We consider applications for this position on an ongoing basis.

The Task Associate (TA) supports sales drivers by ensuring merchandise fixtures are stocked, store cleanliness is maintained, and tasks are completed. The TA works with the Merchandise Manager (MM) and Operations Manager (OM) focusing on performance, people, and process to achieve operational excellence.

• Contribute to achieving store retail goals by executing tasks that ensure product availability.
• Meet compliance and execution goals for task dashboard and operational processes, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• Foster an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, brand and category education, and continuous professional development to drive sales performance.

• Understand and comply with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to the dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices.
• Maintain operational excellence by keeping work areas replenished, signed, faced, and ensuring testers are available.
• Maintain store standards and cleanliness across all areas.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention practices and exceptional guest service.
• Execute additional operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent education and work experience preferred.

• Proficiency with basic technology, e.g., point of sale and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

• Flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during the shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 25 lbs. during the shift.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.

Pay range: $16.00 – $24.00 per hour. Exact pay determined by education, qualifications, experience, level, shift, location, and business needs. Eligible associates may earn overtime pay as required by law. Full‑time employees receive paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; part‑time employees receive dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
