Job Overview
Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a high‑traffic environment, and consistently engage customers to identify needs, educate them, and recommend solutions. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships through meaningful interactions and must meet performance targets while providing exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities- Proactively engage a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools, effective communication, and education to showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions.
- Use digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process; conduct solution‑based selling, recommend wireless solutions, and enable customers to self‑serve via the T‑Mobile app.
- Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products, and processes; review personal results, current promotions, and Hub updates to remain customer‑ready at all times.
- Partner with nearby store locations to onboard customers, practice skills, share knowledge, and perform store operations, opening and closing procedures. Carry kiosk cabinet keys, lock/kiosk assets, and report lost keys or assets to management.
- Demonstrate customer obsession by providing exceptional service, exceeding expectations, proactively reaching out to potential customers, following up, capturing referrals, managing Be Back processes, and performing price overrides for specialty offers.
- Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Six months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Preferred)

Hourly base pay: $19.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After training, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. Incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status. All employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives.
