We are seeking a Sales Representative who will manage the sales process and deliver excellent customer service, sourcing new customers, guiding them through design, and ensuring a smooth sales experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Effectively communicate D.R. Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers
- Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges, establishing D.R. Horton as the best solution
- Overcome objections and close sales
- Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction
- Continuously source new sales opportunities
- Create and provide a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships
- Network and perform outreach to realtors
- Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and collaborate with the team
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects
- Attend sales meetings
- Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members
- Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the company’s goodwill and profit
- Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, capable of driving day or night
- Proficiency using D.R. Horton sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, sit for extended periods, kneel, bend, walk stairs, use hands, lift or move up to 25 pounds, and meet vision requirements (close, distance, color, peripheral)
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Acceptable noise level in a moderate environment
- Licensing requirements vary by state
- Experience with CRM software
- Prior sales experience, knowledge of the industry preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong motivation
- Successful Sales Representatives earning from $200,000 to $400,000
