About the Company

• Greet and assist customers promptly, approach and acknowledge customers immediately, provide assistance and handle multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions, inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns, address customer issues, use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, and aim to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management, regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals, collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

• Minimum age 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers, handheld and mobile devices.
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on‑the‑job training.
• Position type:
  Hourly. Starting at $15.92.

• Frequently operate cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers face‑to‑face and via telephone, and with managers and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise.
• Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
