Title: Microbiologist

Position Type: 1-year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need.

Job Location: Raritan, NJ

Shift: 1st Shift

Compensation: $30.50/HR

• Conduct testing on intermediates, final products, and water; support non-routine testing including validations and other required studies. Accurately document and interpret results against specifications or requirements.
• Perform environmental monitoring (viable and non-viable).
• Conduct bioburden, endotoxin, and growth promotion tests.
• Apply knowledge of microbiological testing principles, theories, and methodologies in line with current procedures and Pharmacopoeias.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment; manage supply inventory levels.
• Stay current with quality guidelines and regulations (GxP).
• Participate in laboratory investigations, technology transfers, validations, and R&D projects.

• B.S. or B.A. in Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience with microbiological testing.
• Knowledge of quality guidelines, standards, and regulations (GxP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a regulated environment preferred.
