This is a full-time, on-site Chimney Sweep role located in Flemington, NJ. The Chimney Sweep will perform chimney cleaning, inspections, and basic maintenance to help ensure safe and efficient operation of fireplaces, stoves, and flues. Day-to-day tasks include removing soot and creosote, checking for blockages and structural issues, documenting findings, and recommending necessary repairs. The role may involve assisting with masonry work on chimneys and fireplaces, such as minor brick, mortar, and crown repairs.

The Chimney Sweep will interact directly with customers, explain services performed, provide safety guidance, complete service records, and maintain a clean, organized work area and vehicle.

• Solid understanding of chimneys and fireplaces, including basic operation, safety, and common issues.
• Experience or strong interest in chimney cleaning and inspection practices, with attention to safety and detail.
• Background or aptitude in masonry work related to chimneys and fireplaces (e.g., brick, mortar, and minor structural repairs).
• Customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism on-site, and ability to explain work performed.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting equipment.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Flemington, NJ.
• Prior chimney, fireplace, or construction experience is preferred; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
