School Bus Driver

Description

Krapf School Bus is seeking part‑time School Bus Driver and Traveling Licensed Substitute Bus Driver positions in the Hampton, NJ area. No experience required – paid training to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL). This is a consistent part‑time schedule with steady income, especially for rideshare drivers, gig workers, retirees, stay‑at‑home parents, or college students.

• 20–25 hours per week (split schedule)
• Guaranteed 4–5 hours per day
• 9.5 months out of the year / 38 weeks (summer work available)
• Opportunities to sign up for additional hours (sports, trips, extended/summer programs)
• Free to apply for unemployment during the summer if you do not work

• Paid training – cost of obtaining permits covered
• Krapf will pay for you to obtain your CDL
• Advancement opportunities: move into a full‑time trainer, dispatcher or operations manager role
• Health insurance eligibility if you average ≥130 hours per month over a year via extra driving opportunities

Current training rate: $15.92 per hour. Upon successful completion of training, hourly rate increases to $26.00–$29.00 per hour.

• Valid driver’s license for at least one year
• Pass a background check
