About Facilities Management:
Facilities Management (FM) is a core service within JLL’s Work Dynamics business, focused on delivering operational excellence, improving the occupant experience, and optimizing building performance for clients. The FM team combines proven industry best practices with advanced technologies to manage preventive and reactive maintenance, space planning, energy management, vendor oversight, sustainability programs, and workplace safety. By aligning expertise with client goals, JLL’s FM professionals create measurable value through efficient, sustainable, and innovative building management.

What the job involves:

We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Facilities Management to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working within JLL’s facilities operations, supporting service delivery, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with onsite teams, engage with clients, and contribute to innovative initiatives that enhance facility performance and customer satisfaction.

As a Summer Intern in Facilities Management at JLL, you will:

  • Engage with Account Directors at client sites to gain insight into operational leadership and team collaboration for high-performing accounts.
  • Assist managers in executing new business processes and operational projects that support business growth.
  • Support financial reviews and management activities related to both JLL operations and client accounts.
  • Assist with creating internal and tenant communication documents, such as building announcements and service updates.
  • Document, enhance, and streamline the special event approval process, from initial request to final license agreement.
  • Create or edit internal documentation and team communication materials.
  • Update and maintain the team’s SharePoint site to improve visibility of deliverables and progress tracking.
  • Support the Smart Building Program, assisting with manual development, documentation of troubleshooting procedures, and system health protocols.
  • Develop dashboards and analyze operational data to support the shift from scheduled to demand-based services.
  • Assist with facility condition assessments, maintenance planning, OCP support, and vendor coordination.
  • Develop skills in vendor management, work order management, and client relationship building.

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with 2–3 years completed, majoring in Business, Real Estate, or Facilities Management
    .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across diverse projects.
