Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Our client, a leading educational institution, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant Senior to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant Senior, you will be part of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management supporting the leadership team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, professionalism, and discretion, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Administrative Assistant Senior
Location: Flint
Pay Range: $19.95-25/hr.
Shift: Hybrid
What's the Job?
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management
- Manage complex calendars, schedule priorities, and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare agendas, materials, and summaries for meetings, tracking follow-up actions
- Handle communications including phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries with professionalism
- Support financial transactions, including processing contracts, reimbursements, and expense reports using university systems
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred - At least 4 years of progressively responsible administrative support experience
- Experience supporting leadership in a professional environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google tools, and familiarity with administrative systems such as Emburse, People Soft, or Banner
