Job Specific Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Adept at using computers and related software applications, especially Microsoft Office and Project Management software; managing schedules; coordinating projects; maintaining records; composing, editing, proofreading and formatting letters, correspondence and other written materials; monitoring a budget, taking, preparing and disseminating minutes, maintaining confidential files; researching or coordinating confidential matters involving personnel or legal matters.

- Tracking of projects and budgets for the Division of University Advancement and External Relations.
- Manage the Vice President of University Advancement’s calendar. Arrange all appointments and meetings—both internal and external. Plan travel itineraries and schedule related appointments. Collaborate with the President’s Office on travel schedules and appointments. Arrange campus visits for prominent individuals and potential donors. Access Banner data on alumni, friends, especially giving information. Responsible for maintaining VP files for future reference. Support the work of other Advancement staff as necessary.
- Screen telephone calls and visitors for the Vice President. Serve as point of contact for donor related calls. Provide telephone reception occasionally for the department’s toll free number.
- Edit, proof and at times develop written proposals, reports, presentations for Board meetings and donor events. Opportunity to be creative by designing slide presentations for the VP, designing and compiling reports, and assisting with meeting materials and event collateral.
- Coordinate and schedule fundraising campaign subcommittees and activities. Take meeting minutes, distribute and track action items. Responsible for maintaining record/files for the team.
