Director of Pharmacy Operations will be responsible for aligning pharmacy programs and day‑to‑day operations at multiple pharmacies with the needs of our customers. This requires listening to our clients’ needs and creating a great customer experience. This individual will need to think of large‑scale, out‑of‑the‑box solutions and innovate continuously to grow the business. The Director will develop, retain, and acquire top talent, serve as a servant leader, and foster an inclusive environment that promotes innovation, employee development, and high engagement across locations.
Field‑Based Position
:
Oversee pharmacy operations in Michigan and must live in the region or in a neighboring state.
- Provide strategic direction and manage operations across multiple pharmacies.
- Invest time with multiple clinic partnerships to develop and enhance relationships.
- Develop innovative ways to capture new patients and grow business.
- Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to communicate strategic vision and add value.
- Act as a Talent Steward, motivating and developing a high‑performance management team; attract, recruit, and retain world‑class talent.
- Lead efforts and model behaviors that encourage maximum team performance and engagement.
- Create a culture that promotes inclusion, diversity, innovation, collaboration, and employee development.
- Ensure all pharmacy operational standards comply with local, state, and federal regulations and follow Board of Pharmacy protocols.
- Responsible for financial performance and budget for the assigned region.
- Comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Ensure security measures prevent theft or loss within pharmacy sites.
- Serve as liaison between Genoa and the Community Mental Health Centers we serve.
- Customer‑centric focus: design processes and plans from the customer perspective.
- Team engagement: foster a high level of engagement through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Execution planning: translate enterprise strategy into local tactical plans, measure progress, and communicate clearly.
- Innovation: remain restless, curious, and open to change, encouraging experimentation.
- Talent lifecycle: source, screen, hire, onboard, train, develop, and, when necessary, terminate employment.

Required Qualifications- 7+ years of pharmacy operations experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Proven adherence to the highest ethical standards.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
- Pharmacy degree.
- 3+ years of multi‑site pharmacy operations leadership experience.
- Proven exceptional interpersonal and communication (verbal, listening) skills.
