The OpportunityResponsible for driving improvement in business capabilities and results through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship oversight.
The Work Itself- Collaborate with supply chain partners to maximize ROI for supplier relationships.
- Support business stakeholders through proactive thought leadership.
- Monitor and analyze supplier spend to ensure budgetary objectives are met.
- Oversight of supplier management SLAs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Proactive monitoring of pending contract renewals for renegotiation opportunities.
- Oversight of effective supplier onboarding and offboarding.
- Track master supplier lists with operational ownership alignment.
- Collaborate with supplier relationship owners to drive consistent vision and messaging.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to self-motivate and pull in additional work with limited direction.
- Perform special projects/assignments as needed.
- 3+ years of experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years gathering project requirements.
- 3 years participating in simple to complex projects.
- 3 years developing task lists and project plans.
- 3 years participating in diverse project teams and communicating with stakeholders.
- 3 years delivering on objectives/tasks related to projects.
- 3 years identifying and mitigating risk.
- Beginners experience in consumer financing industry (auto, mortgage, etc.) preferred.
- Experience in auto finance: collections, loss prevention, repossession, remarketing, special servicing and/or recovery operations preferred.
- Intermediate working experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio).
- Intermediate working experience with JIRA or other PM software preferred.
- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
