Long-Term Substitute Teacher-Middle School Science Purpose of the Position

It is the purpose of this position to meet the general educational needs of a Middle School Science class.

Qualifications

Minimum Education al Requirements
  • 60 hours from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Teaching certification OR Michigan Substitute Teacher Permit
Minimum General Requirements
  • Implement effective classroom management skills.
  • Ability to organize and administer class lesson plans.
  • Exemplify professionalism to students and staff.
  • Establish effective relationships with students, staff, and community.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Knowledgeable of the growth and maturation patterns of the middle school student.
  • Ability to speak and write effectively.
  • Clearance of a criminal records check as required by the Board of Directors' policy.
