Position
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and a Michigan Teaching Certificate with at least one of the following endorsements:
- Mathematics - Secondary (EX) or (EQ)
- All subjects (ZC), (ZK), or (ZG) endorsements will also be considered
The qualified candidate will use creative instructional strategies along with best practices for classroom teaching which promotes interactive learning and student engagement through technology, literature, and writing. The candidate must be adept with technology and ready to consider emergent techniques to enhance student achievement.
Responsibilities- Aide in research, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Mathematics curriculum
- Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans
- Incorporate practical application of content knowledge in lesson plans
- Differential instruction to meet the needs of each learner
- Develop and implement progressive classroom-based interventions
- Utilize progress monitoring
- Monitor and evaluate student development and growth through a variety of assessments
- Maintain accurate student classroom records
This position reports to the Building Principal.
