• Uses student‑centered strategies, like debates, document‑based questions (DBQs), and project‑based learning

• Integrates social studies content with literacy and research skills

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field (Master's preferred)
• Valid Michigan teaching certification or the ability to obtain one
• Previous classroom experience at the middle school level strongly preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to student achievement, equity, and growth
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Starting pay 50,000.00 (negotiable). Pay increases based on experience.

School Year

401K with 4% and another 4% matching by the school
