Technical Trainer - CNC Machining

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Trainer - CNC to support a leading automotive manufacturing client. This individual will play a critical role in developing and delivering hands-on training programs for machining operators across multiple production tiers. The role will begin with immersive learning of machining processes-including a potential focus on crankshaft production-before transitioning into instructing operators on best practices, tooling, and blueprint interpretation.

The ideal candidate has a strong machining background and a passion for teaching, with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast-paced shop floor environment. This is a highly interactive role that directly impacts operational efficiency and workforce development.

Organize training materials and coordinate training schedules

Learn production processes across 4 training tiers

Spend initial weeks learning each tier's machining processes and instructions

Deliver hands-on operator training following each learning phase

Support rollout of training programs:

3-6 weeks learning + 1 month training operators

Potential focus on crankshaft machining operations during first 8-10 weeks

Collaborate with shop floor teams, engineers, and leadership

Provide feedback to improve training content and delivery methods

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
