Job Summary:
The K-3 Student Success Technician supports students by providing academic, behavioral, and attendance interventions to enhance classroom learning. They work closely with teachers to manage behaviors, assist with reading interventions, and implement multi-tiered systems of support. Using positive behavior strategies and restorative practices, they help create a supportive and engaging school environment.

Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associates degree required.
Experience:Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an urban setting preferred.
Skills:Ability to exhibit patience, and work effectively with children, adolescents, and staff members. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good listening and communication skills. Ability to make sound decisions. Ability to assist students with using computer programs.
Other requirements:Must comply with the Student Safety Initiative Legislation, as amended. Newly hired staff are required to successfully complete the following pre-employment screenings:
1) Criminal background check, including national and local clearance.

Special Job Considerations:Salary
Schedule:
$24.00 per hour, 30 hours per week, 183 days per year, no benefits
