Montessori Teacher - $10k 2026/27 Sign On Bonus Available!

The Montessori Teacher is responsible for creating a flexible and nurturing classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth for each student. This role involves designing and implementing a Montessori curriculum that supports the development of skills, attitudes, and knowledge in accordance with each student's individual abilities. The Montessori teacher will work collaboratively with parents and staff to maintain open communication, promote parent involvement, and contribute to the overall success of the Montessori program.

Teacher Salary Schedule + $10,000 Commitment Bonus (eligible based on available and sustainable funds and payable in accordance with District policy and guidelines). 183 days per year. Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. Employees shall be subject to the copayment of health care costs equal to the difference between the premium cost and the annual cost limitation imposed on public employers.

Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate required. Montessori certification preferred. Must have or be willing to pursue Montessori Certification.

Previous Montessori classroom teaching experience preferred.
