Minimum salary for this position is $6,375. The University of Michigan-Flint invites applications for a part-time faculty position at the Lecturer I level for the period of August 24 through December 19, 2026. The position requires teaching a 3-credit-hour (25% effort) graduate course. ADM 509 Marketing, Fund-Raising and Planned Giving is an overview class of marketing in nonprofit arts organizations, with a focus on regional and national trends in marketing and development of models for various strategies.
The course is scheduled in hybrid modality on Tuesdays, 5:30-8:15 PM. Instruction can and will be delivered remotely; however, the instructor may need to come to campus occasionally. The instructor must have materials and equipment prepared to teach fully online. The budget for this position is for the fall 2026 term only.
Methods of marketing nonprofit arts organizations. Examination of regional and national trends in marketing and development of models for various marketing strategies. Emphasis on marketing research and project development. Graded ABCDE
QualificationsProspective candidates should minimally possess a graduate degree in arts, administration, or relevant field and professional experience. Graduate work must have been completed within an accredited program. Ability to work remotely is essential.
Desired QualificationsEvidence of relevant teaching experience is desired. Formal training in distance education preferred.
