Overview

Position Summary Responds for performing and preliminarily interpreting noninvasive vascular ultrasound testing, including but not limited to, aorta duplex, arterial Doppler of the upper and lower extremities, arterial venous fistula duplex, carotid duplex, radial dependency, real artery duplex, venous duplex of the upper and lower extremities, bypass graft surveillance, ultrasound guided injection of pseudo aneurysm, inter-operative monitoring of digital pressures, vessel mapping, and rule out aneurismal disease.

Responsible for performing and preliminarily interpreting noninvasive vascular ultrasound testing, including but not limited to, aorta duplex, arterial Doppler of the upper and lower extremities arterial venous fistula duplex, carotid duplex radial dependency, real artery duplex venous duplex of the upper and lower extremities, bypass graft surveillance, ultrasound guided injection of pseudo aneurysm, inter-operative monitoring of digital pressures, vessel mapping, and rule out aneurismal disease.

• Appropriately credentialed in vascular ultrasound with current and active certification in at least one of the following areas:
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
• Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography (RT (VS))
• BLS within six (6) months of hire or transfer
