As a Dietary Manager at Preferred Care MI, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well‑being of our patients by overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department. • Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, including supervising dietary aides and cooks, to ensure efficient and effective meal service
• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our patients, including those with special dietary requirements
• Conduct food safety inspections and maintain a clean and safe food environment
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure that patient needs are met and that meal delivery is timely and efficient
• Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximizing revenue
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem‑solving

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and staff members
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with dietary software and electronic health records systems
