We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist for an on-site contract role located in Huntington, WV. The Pharmacist will be tasked with preparing and dispensing medications according to prescriptions, counseling patients on drug usage, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining accurate medication records. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the appropriate treatment of patients, verifying prescriptions for accuracy, and managing inventory to ensure availability of essential medications.

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication preparation, and dispensing
• Excellent organizational, accuracy, and record-keeping skills
• Proficiency in patient counseling and delivering essential drug-related information
• Experience in monitoring inventory and meeting pharmaceutical compliance standards
• Licensure as a registered Pharmacist and a degree in Pharmacy or a related field
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with healthcare teams and patients
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and best practices in pharmaceutical care
• Experience in a comparable on-site healthcare setting is an asset
