Medical Technologist & Lab Technician
We are seeking a Board-Certified Sleep Technologist to independently manage overnight sleep studies in a clinical sleep lab.
Key responsibilities include preparing patients, reviewing history, applying sensors per AASM standards, and conducting diagnostic PSG, split-night, and PAP titration studies.
Technologists will calibrate equipment, recognize sleep stages and abnormalities, initiate and adjust therapies, and respond to emergencies, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety.
They will support quality assurance, maintain compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols, manage equipment, and mentor trainees.
Required qualifications include active certification in RPSGT, CRT-SDS, or CRT/RRT with RST, current CPR/BLS, and strong knowledge of scoring criteria and equipment.
Preferred qualifications are degrees in sleep technology, experience with HSAT, and mentoring skills.
