Human Resources Manager Position
The Human Resources Manager manages a team of five and serves as the leader of operations in the HR department. This includes taking an active role in the work, while also mentoring and coaching others. Key responsibilities include employee relations, open enrollment, leave management, manager and employee coaching, HR audits and managing the HRIS system.
The Human Resources Manager provides oversight in areas of recruiting, orientation, and other miscellaneous HR tasks that promote the culture and wellness of employees. An individual in this role understands the company's goals, values, and vision, and works tirelessly to connect with employees to answer questions, address concerns, and ultimately foster a strong and engaged workforce.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Human Resources Manager Position
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in human resources is required
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required
- Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred
- Knowledge of union collective bargaining agreements is required
- Ability to engage with different groups of employees and create a high-quality work environment
- Experience with UKG Ready is preferred
- Experience in a multi-state, multi-location entity is preferred
