Description Overview:
The SAP Ariba Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, optimization, and day‑to‑day support of the organization’s SAP Ariba environment, ensuring seamless procurement and sourcing operations and continuous improvement.
- System Administration & Configuration:
Manage and maintain SAP Ariba modules (Buying & Invoicing), including configuration updates, workflow adjustments, and catalog management. - User Support & Issue Resolution:
Primary point of contact for Ariba issues; troubleshoot errors, coordinate with SAP support, ensure timely resolution. - Integration Management:
Monitor and support integrations between SAP Ariba and ERP systems (SAP ECC/S4
HANA), middleware, and third‑party applications. - Supplier Enablement:
Support onboarding and maintenance of suppliers in Ariba Network; assist with registration, catalog uploads, and transaction troubleshooting. - Process Optimization:
Streamline procurement processes; recommend and implement system enhancements/automation. - Data Governance & Reporting:
Maintain data accuracy; manage user roles/permissions; develop reports/dashboards for procurement analytics. - Release & Change Management:
Review quarterly releases, assess impacts, test features, coordinate rollouts. - Documentation & Training:
Maintain documentation/SOPs; train end users and procurement teams. - Compliance & Security:
Align configurations with internal controls, audit requirements, and security standards.
- 3–5+ years administering SAP Ariba solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with at least one major module (Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, or Supplier Management).
- Strong procurement/sourcing/supplier lifecycle knowledge.
- Experience supporting integrations with SAP ECC or S/4
HANA. - Experience onboarding new entities (acquisitions/divestitures).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with SAP support.
- Data analysis/reporting tools and Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- SAP Ariba certification(s).
- Ariba Network supplier enablement experience.
- Process improvement or procurement operations background.
- Global/multi‑business‑unit experience.
- Analytical/problem‑solving; detail‑oriented and data accuracy focused.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborative, customer‑service oriented.
- Adaptable to evolving needs/system enhancements.
