Location

Flint, MI

Pay

Annual Salary: $46,000 per year (based on experience). Salary paid weekly.

Schedule

Monday–Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (2 Saturdays on 1 off, occasional Sunday).

Responsibilities
  • Follow up on all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery performance to support production requirements.
  • Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers.
  • Provide direction to suppliers regarding ship schedule requirements and containment plans when behind schedule.
  • Make decisions on timing for supplier ship schedules, allowing materials to be pushed out, pulled ahead, or expedited based on inventory coverage at the plant.
  • Track critical parts and develop/execute containment plans to ensure no interruptions or downtime on the manufacturing line, including decisions on transportation mode and required delivery window.
  • Coordinate alternative sources of material and request spot buys when necessary.
  • Independently monitor, set up, and cancel truck loads for material pick-up to support schedule variations.
  • Ensure proper material coverage at the lowest possible cost for customers.
  • Review part buffers to confirm they cover build requirements.
  • Document and manage S and AV code exceptions (Assembly Plants) including Alarm Interval maintenance.
  • Determine root causes and take appropriate actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO, making necessary adjustments.
  • Make judgments on posting inventory adjustments based on investigations and analysis.
  • Investigate and process any record adjustment requests from the previous shift.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills (verbal and written).
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One (1) year or more of administrative experience preferred.
  • Five (5) years or more of relevant experience strongly recommended.
  • No travel required.
