Job Description

We are immediately hiring a Pre-Trial Run Coordinator in Flint, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This role is reported to the Manager and is responsible for assisting the engineering change team with the implementation of new parts for assembly, with a focus on logistics operations and reporting.

  • Pay Type:

    Salary paid weekly
  • Annual Salary: $50,000
  • Schedule:

    Monday–Saturday 06:00 am–02:30 pm (must be flexible)

Summary

Under the responsibility of the Manager, the PTR Coordinator assists the engineering change team with implementation of new parts for assembly. Report generation primarily in Excel with an expectation for high attention to detail; high proficiency in MS Office is a plus.

Essential Functions
  • Supervise, coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations
  • Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes, ensuring they meet company standards and customer service specifications
  • Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate the activities of the workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics
  • Accountable for site Key Performance Indications (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations
  • Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress toward objectives, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize team and individual successes
  • Cultivate team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes
  • Conduct performance evaluations of the team members and recommend performance awards or merit increases when appropriate
  • Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process
  • Understand labor agreement and maintain positive labor relations with all employees
  • Implement health & safety and security initiatives, practices, and behaviors, and enforce company rules and policies
  • Provide appropriate orientation for employees and Lead Hands and give them the information, technology and any material necessary to perform their jobs

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One (1) year or more experience in a transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred
