Shop Technician - Hydraulic Hose

PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring for the position of Hydraulic Hose Technician & Mechanic to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base (manufacturing, construction, rental companies, etc.). As a Shop Technician, you perform custom hose and tubing fabrication for our walk-in retail customers. Using your exceptional customer service skills, you accurately specify the correct replacement assembly based on customer-provided samples and specifications.

You will be fully trained to operate purpose-built PIRTEK specialized equipment designed to fabricate hose assemblies. You will also answer phones, assist with billing, and keep the shop clean, organized, and welcoming. You are meticulous about tracking inventory. You are part of the backbone that our field technicians depend on to keep their jobs flowing smoothly by providing inventory and restock support, ensuring they have what they need when they need it.

You contribute to completing jobs properly and efficiently and take pride in keeping everything in order and providing exceptional service for our customers.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically Inclined;
  Must have hands on experiences in auto repair, off-road vehicle repair or machinery repair
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Positive attitude & Self-motivated
• Sound organization and planning skills

• Competitive compensation: $18-$25 per hour (40 hours per week), depending on experience, plus overtime payment; bonus may be granted monthly based on generated revenue
