Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree

• Two (2) years' experience as a Supervisor in social welfare planning
• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years' experience as a supervisor in social welfare planning
• At least eight (8) years' experience as a Supervisor with Genesee County Community Action Resource Department
• An equivalent combination of education and experience deemed acceptable by the GCCARD Director

Starting Pay: $30.0212 hourly ($62,444). Step A: $31.7837 hourly ($66,110);
Step B: $35.5577 hourly ($73,960);
Step C: $36.8130 hourly ($76,571);
Step D: $38.1043 hourly ($79,257);
Step E: $39.4966 hourly ($82,153).

Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license.

Plans, organizes and administers the operation of the Neighborhood Service Center Programs; this position is exempt and appointed by the GCCARD Director; works under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director of GCCARD; performs related duties as required.

• Trains, supervises and evaluates the Neighborhood Service Center Program's staff in the performance of their assigned duties;
• Develops, implements and monitors the financial and statistical reporting systems for all Neighborhood Service Center Program operations;
• Develops and submits annual refunding proposals for the Neighborhood Service Center Programs;
• Develops, implements and monitors Neighborhood Service Center Programs operation's policy to ensure compliance with federal, state, county, agency and contractual requirements;
• Makes presentations to various decision-making groups such as the Genesee County Board of Commissioners, social welfare agencies and public service groups to secure funding, provide project information and network support.
