IFM Senior Site Manager – EV Battery Manufacturing (IFM / Launch Leadership)
Reporting to: COO & VP Operations
EV manufacturing launch | 24/7 ramp-up environment
About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead Integrated Facilities Management at a major EV battery manufacturing facility in Michigan during a critical startup and production ramp-up phase.
This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for facility readiness, workforce execution, and operational performance that directly impacts manufacturing uptime and production success.
You will lead on-site operations as part of the plant leadership team, partnering closely with OEM stakeholders, construction partners, and internal executives.
Scope of Responsibility- Lead all site facility services (maintenance, cleaning, infrastructure, support services)
- Manage 120+ employees in a multi-shift operation
- Oversee cleanroom, dry room, and mechanical systems readiness
- Lead through startup, commissioning, and full production ramp-up
- Own P&L, including cost control and labor strategy
- Serve as escalation point for operational and production-impacting issues
- Partner with OEM leadership, operations, and construction stakeholders
- Workforce integration and leadership
- Stakeholder alignment and communication
- Production uptime and maintenance performance
- Safety, compliance, and cost control
- 10–15+ years in facilities, manufacturing, or industrial operations leadership
- Experience leading large multi-shift teams (150–300+)
- Strong manufacturing background (required)
- EV / automotive / battery / cleanroom experience preferred
- Startup, commissioning, or ramp-up experience strongly preferred
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility
- Proven stakeholder management in complex environments
- Lead a flagship EV manufacturing launch
- Full ownership of a high-value operation
- High-impact role with direct influence on production success
- Build systems, structure, and teams from the ground up
- High visibility with OEM and executive leadership
