Overview

Third Party Quality Inspector at GM 1st and 2nd shift.

The Person nel Office is looking for a Third-Party Quality Inspector inside GM.

• First Shift 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
• Second Shift 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
• Immediate openings for qualified candidates.

• Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
• G-4267 S Dort Hwy. Burton MI 48529.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

• Should be physically fit and have the ability to lift heavy materials.
• The ability to competently and effectively manage time and complete assigned work.
• Be a team player and have the ability to coordinate with fellow workers.
• High school degree, GED certification.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for 8hrs or more at a time.
• Able to bend, reach, and manipulate bulky objects.

• The locations are typically a fast-paced and high-stress environment that requires impartial measurement and inspection of materials (supplied parts) for manufacturing.
• Work environment is typically filled with heightened emotions due to interruption of production processes.
• Assures that the Customer’s supplied materials is free from ‘suspect’ defect(s) or any other defect that is found during the inspection of supplied parts.
• Reads, understands, acknowledges and performs documented ‘Work Instructions’.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database when instructed by Lead Inspector.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
