Oakley Industries Sub Assembly Division, Inc. is a leading automotive supplier operating seven facilities across the U.S. and Canada. Our Flint, Michigan plant is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician who has strong electrical experience to join our team.
SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all production and facility equipment. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
Working closely with production and quality teams, the Maintenance Technician identifies root causes of equipment issues, implements corrective actions, and helps improve machine reliability and performance. This position requires strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift: 2nd Pay: $32.45 - $36.45 per hour Education & Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Four years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and industrial skills.
- An assessment test or apprenticeship program certificate and/or associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is required.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience required
- Experience in automotive manufacturing
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Electrical Experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
