12 South Telemetry Position Summary

Responsible for administration and management of services and personnel in the assigned nursing unit(s). Oversees the nursing plan of care for patients within the unit, ensuring that it meets the physiological and emotional needs of patients. Directs patient care through performance and/or leadership of patient care team members and patient care management staff. Assists in coordinating patient care through the appropriate utilization of all resources: staff, equipment, supplies, etc.

Acts as an expert resource to both the medical center staff and physicians.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program to be completed within 2 years
• Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated leadership performance
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related health care field
