Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg – Night Shift

Full-Time 0.9 FTE – 12‑hour night shifts

UP Health System Bell, part of Lifepoint Health, invites experienced RN candidates to join our Med/Surg department delivering quality patient care. As an RN you will be integral to teams that improve community health. UP Health System Bell is a Joint Commission Accredited Critical Access Hospital offering inpatient, outpatient, and post‑acute services.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care delivered.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Applicants must have a Michigan RN license and an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS‑HCP)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) finalized within one year
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) finalized within one year
