A behavioral health organization in Flint, Michigan is seeking an experienced, full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team.

Position Overview & Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions, from mild to severe and persistent illness
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals as needed
  • Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric treatment
  • Collaborate with Medical Director, Behavioral Health Director, Family Nurse Practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Support coordinated, team-based care across the behavioral health continuum
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Occasional weekends, holidays, or irregular hours may be required
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs, and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity
  • Salary: $117K to $152K Annually
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Current licensure in the State of Michigan as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
  • Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC or AANPCB)
  • Michigan Controlled Substance License and current DEA registration
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health, including assessment, medication management, and crisis intervention
  • Experience with developmental disabilities and/or pediatric populations preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation
