QC Chemist – Allegan MI – evening shift Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing on purchased materials and finished products in the Quality Control Laboratory.
- Prepare sample/standard solutions and perform physical and identification testing (pH meter, density meter, UV-Visible Spectrometry, Infrared Spectrometry, Malvern particle size analyzer, titration, viscosity, etc.) and quantitative analysis using instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, dissolution baths, Atomic Absorption.
- Use electronic laboratory notebooks and input data to SAP.
- Maintain personal laboratory work area and assist with general laboratory cleaning.
- Participate in training and development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferred – HS diploma required. Recent graduates for 2025 urged to apply and highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task and work well individually and in a team environment to complete daily assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
A pay of $21/hr after training (approximately 2‑3 weeks). After training, pay increases to $21.50/hr for the evening shift.
Shift / HoursEvening Shift, Monday
- Thursday, 4PM – 2AM; while training, shift would be on days, either Monday
- Thursday or Monday
- Friday.
