Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations during the shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Set the example for staff and enforce 100% adherence to company policy and procedures.
• Staff schedules, complete paperwork, and monitor cost and cash controls.
• Manage food production, ensure schedule compliance, maintain a perfect store image, marketing, and profitability.
• Provide excellent customer service, maintain attendance and punctuality, arrange transportation to/from work, and uphold store cleanliness.

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare and assemble product.
• Respond to and process telephone orders.
• Keep accurate inventory records and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Complete orientation and training on the job.
• Communicate orally and in writing with customers and co‑workers.

• Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) quickly and accurately.
• Provide correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Coordinate motor skills for rapid and precise work.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Exposure to varying weather when removing trash or performing outside tasks.
• Store temperatures ranging from 36° to above 90°.
• Sudden temperature changes inside and outside the store.
• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Cramped walk‑in cooler and other confined spaces.
• Hot surfaces up to 500° or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

• Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position.
• Walking: short distances for short durations across various surfaces.
• Sitting: paperwork at a desk or table.
• Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds, stacked on pallets up to 72 shelves.
• Carrying: small cans, sauce, and trays of dough weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Pushing and Pulling: trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
• Climbing: occasional stairs or ladders for maintenance.
