Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic cashier to join our store team. Duties include checking out customers, collecting payments, operating the cash register, assisting customers with store services, and thanking customers for shopping with Super One Foods.
Responsibilities- Process customer transactions and operate the cash register.
- Collect payments and ensure accuracy of cash handling.
- Assist customers with store services and information about available offerings.
- Maintain a helpful, friendly demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand at a cash register for extended periods.
- Physical ability to lift and handle grocery items, typically up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible scheduling; ability to work varying shifts.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Retail/grocery experience preferred but not required.
