The responsibilities include engaging healthcare professionals, promoting product benefits, and collaborating cross‑functionally to elevate the customer experience.
Position SummaryThe TAS is a field‑based role that delivers scientific expertise to HCPs and supports BMS’s objective of providing impactful engagement and adoption of new and existing medicines. The TAS prioritizes safe, appropriate use of BMS products while achieving business results.
Key Responsibilities- Promote approved indications of BMS products within the assigned territory, meeting or exceeding sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Create demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for appropriate patient use.
- Maintain up‑to‑date scientific knowledge of assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Utilize tools such as SOPHIA to derive insights and inform dynamic call plans, providing feedback to leadership.
- Deliver balanced scientific dialogue to HCPs through presentations, programmed speaker events, and real‑time support via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate with other field teams and internal stakeholders to deliver a superior customer experience.
- Document all HCP interactions and insights in a timely and compliant manner.
- Ensure adherence to all laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying scientific and clinical data accurately.
- Proven experience building credibility with key customers, office staff, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in the cardiovascular space preferred.
- Strong account‑management, selling competencies, and documented sales performance record.
- Ability to work effectively cross‑functionally with a positive team mindset.
- Strong selling and promotional skills demonstrated through a track record of performance.
- Ability to operate a company‑provided vehicle and meet “Qualified Driver” requirements: at least 21 years of age, good standing driver’s license, and acceptable risk level.

Field – United States: $134,390 – $162,843 (base salary). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may apply. Eligibility for benefits varies by location.
