Business Development Manager

A rapidly growing organization in the Manufacturing Industry seeking a Business Development Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of OEM furniture manufacturing accounts throughout the Midwestern U.S. furniture market. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative sales professional looking to advance into OEM and National/Key Account leadership.

• Manage and grow existing OEM customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities, programs, and product applications.
• Develop strategic account plans, manage sales pipelines, forecasts, pricing, and contract negotiations to drive profitable growth.
• Build strong relationships with purchasing, engineering, quality, operations, and executive stakeholders within customer organizations.
• Partner with internal technical, product, customer service, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure exceptional customer support and execution.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows throughout the territory.

• 5+ years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience supporting OEM manufacturers, preferably within the furniture, building products, wood products, components, or related manufacturing industries.
• Proven success managing and expanding key customer accounts through consultative, relationship-based selling.
• Strong skills in pricing strategy, negotiations, forecasting, pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a territory-based role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; willingness to travel throughout the Midwest, with occasional national travel.
