Unarmed Security Officer

Position Available: Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer

Schedule: 3 various days, 4 hours per day = 12 hours per week. Shift will vary. Schedule to be given 60 days in advance.

Location: Bishop International Airport in Flint, MI

Wage: $18.50/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Wanding airport employees at various entrance points.
• Monitor grounds and facility for suspicious activity
• Monitor all persons entering/leaving facility
• Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Be alert and aware at all times
• Have great customer service skills
• Secure premises and personnel by permitting entry, and inspecting access points
• Complete other job duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• 6+ months security experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation and a valid
