Stay Dog Rentals is seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman to join our team in Flint, MI. We’re looking for a hands‑on problem‑solver who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys maintaining properties to the highest standard.

Please note this is a 1099 role.

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple vacation rental properties.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure homes are guest‑ready.
• Respond promptly to urgent repair requests and guest‑reported issues to maintain a high standard of comfort and satisfaction.
• Assemble, install, or replace furniture, fixtures, and appliances as needed.
• Collaborate with property managers to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate records of completed repairs, materials used, and time spent on each task.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and work spaces are kept organized, clean, and in good working condition.
• Uphold safety standards and follow company policies while representing the brand in a professional and courteous manner.

• Proven experience in general maintenance, repairs, or handyman services (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Familiarity with vacation rental operations or property management systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a bonus.

Hourly Rate: $12.00 - $18.00
