Emterra Environmental USA Corp is a leading provider of recycling and waste disposal solutions.

We are currently seeking a Heavy-Duty Technician A to join our team in Flint, Michigan.

• 3,000 Bonus – The bonus shall be paid only upon the successful completion of a ninety (90)-day probationary period and continuous full-time employment for a minimum of six (6) months.

  Boot Allowance

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex engine problems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, & hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Weld and fabricate parts as necessary to complete repairs.

• Proven mechanical experience working on heavy-duty equipment.
• Mechanic's license
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• 2+ State or ASE Certifications in Heavy Truck Repair
• For A Mechanic required CDL:
  Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Must have your own tools.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
