Perform skilled mechanical maintenance in the inspection, repair, installation, and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and related equipment.
Job Responsibilities- Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.
- Ability to manage stress, difficult or emotional customer situations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
- Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely and accurate manner.
- Operating company vehicles and will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicles.
- Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training, and no tolerance will be accepted for disregard of safety instructions.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
- Perform skilled maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors, and any other wiring system as needed.
- Submit customer invoices via company iPad, correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostics, and all recommended repairs.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- HVAC Certified/EPA
- TDLR registered
- Clean driving record
- Time management skills
- Basic software understanding
- Self-motivation
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.
The employee is regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus.
Activities involve attics and crawl spaces, being around moving parts and equipment, and exposure to changes in heat, temperature, and humidity occur daily.
