Pay & Benefits- Starting salary of $32 per hour, depending on experience
- Tool allowance reimbursement up to $1,500
- Boot allowance up to $250
- Monday – Friday every week
- Second Shift: 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- No weekends
Flint, Michigan – repair/maintenance shop at our Pontiac, MI hauling site.
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles for the safety of employees and the community.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
- Assist senior mechanics in project work.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and established safety procedures.
- High School or GED required.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical exam.

- Enjoys variety and daily challenges.
- Determined problem solvers.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing.
- Exposure to physical risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals.
- Exposure to environmental elements such as dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, heat, and humidity.
