• Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred
• Must have the ability to work with other coaches and receive direction from the Athletic Coordinator and/or Principal
• Must be able to relate well to middle school students, parents, school personnel and the general public
• Must be knowledgeable of MHSAA rules and regulations
• Focuses on the student first and the athlete second
• Must strive to boost school spirit and promote good sportsmanship

• Teach techniques and fundamentals of sport.
• Be able to demonstrate all skills necessary for the sport.
• Be knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of the sport.
• Assume the responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities being used.
• Conduct structured practices that follow the guidelines of the Athletic Department.
• Be an example of good character and sportsmanship to the team at all times.
• Be reliable, on time and exhibit strong leadership and character traits.
• Assist the Athletic Coordinator and/or Principal as needed.
